4Wall Sponsors 2018 NYSTEA Student Conference

The New York State Theatre Education Association (NYSTEA) exists to promote educational theatre and theatre education throughout New York State. This past weekend was the annual NYSTEA Student Conference which is a three-day event in Callicoon, NY at the Villa Roma Resort that features multiple workshops, opportunities for students to showcase their talents, a college fair, college auditions, and an opportunity to spend time with theatre students from across New York State. The conference is open to students in grades 10, 11, and 12.

4Wall New York's Al Ridella, Jim Schoenfelder, and Patrick Bellino were at the event and didn't show up empty-handed.

"We donated some moving lights, consoles, and other gear for students to have to hands-on experience during our workshops," said 4Wall VP of Business Development Al Ridella. "They had a great time learning about the gear and had the opportunity to win a tech award."

4Wall provided Chroma-Q Color Force II LEDs, a High End Systems Full Boar 4 console, Road Hog 4 consoles, Martin MAC Quantum Profiles, and Martin MAC Quantum Wash moving lights for Al's 'Introduction to Moving Lights' and 'Moving Light Practicum' workshops.

The winners of the tech award went home with a gold par can trophy and a deeper knowledge of moving lights and the art of lighting design.
