The ROSS ULTRIX-NS-FR2 is a versatile 2RU frame designed for high-capacity routing and mixing. It includes 16x16 HD BNC ports and 2 AUX I/O ports, with an option to expand to 72x72 with additional HDIO blades and AUX ports. The frame supports optional IP-IO blades, IP licenses, and other I/O blade options.

The standard I/O supports SMPTE 259M, 292M, 344M, and 424M. With an optional 12G Ultrispeed license, it also supports SMPTE 2082 signals. The frame comes with Ultrimix and Ultriclean licenses. Ultrimix enables routing, mixing, and processing of all embedded audio inputs, supporting up to 512x512 discrete mono audio inputs via the AUX I/O ports.
