The High End Systems HedgeHog 4X is a compact lighting console designed for rental use where reliable, flexible control is required. It runs the robust Hog 4 OS, supports multiple network protocols, and matches the programming layout of larger Hog consoles so show files can be shared across systems with minimal adjustment.

- Networked control: 2 DMX universes locally, plus up to 6 universes via ArtNet/sACN (eNode4). Hog Net and Fixture-Net connectors provide console networking and DP8K expansion capability.
- Touchscreen support: One internal 12-inch 10-point touchscreen and support for one external DVI-I monitor or touchscreen.
- Playback and programming: 10 manual playback faders, unlimited simultaneous crossfades, four expanded wheelset encoders, and 12 user-assignable function keys for efficient operation.
- Reliable hardware: Internal solid-state hard drive and a Kensington security slot for unattended setups.
