What video inputs do modern projectors support?

Planning and Practical Considerations

Common professional projector inputs include SDI (the broadcast standard), HDMI 2.0 (widely used in corporate AV), HDBaseT (which sends video, audio, and control over a single Cat cable up to 100 meters), and DisplayPort 1.2. Newer models have also started incorporating fiber SFP module inputs for long-distance, high-bandwidth signal runs.

The input you'll use depends on your signal chain: what your content source outputs, how far the signal needs to travel, and what your switching or processing infrastructure supports. Your video engineer will typically spec this as part of the overall system design.
