General Summary
The VP of Production, in conjunction with the Executive / Senior VP of Production, will have primary responsibility for planning, developing and executing live productions. This will include work in outside sales visiting clients for business development purposes and some amount of inside sales functions such as quoting and bid process support.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to existing clients to maintain and improve their relationship with the company.
- Maintain a high level of live event logistics coordination knowledge, and awareness of production needs in regards to building shows, executing preps, and ensuring on-site success for the production staff.
- Maintain and operate 4Wall quality standard in all work activities. Ensure that our high standards are maintained.
Personal Responsibilities
- In coordination with the Executive VP of Production and Senior VP of Production, proactively build strategic business relationships to obtain new and repeat customers.
- Plan and organize a sales strategy for development of revenue streams with new business contacts and customers.
- Evaluate solution ideas by considering data, precedents, and input from others, as well as your own personal experience and knowledge.
- Assist clients in all aspects of creating a quality show, as needed, including equipment choices, review of show files, and works in conjunction with the Senior VP of Production Services for alignment on prep, trucking,and labor services.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with internal customers, clients, and vendors.
- Work with other members of the team to generate innovative solutions to obstacles.
- Participate in team meetings, assist, and train team members, take responsibility for contributing to the success of the team, offer solutions to team problems and promote a positive team environment.
- Ensure that all employees, vendors, outside contractors, etc. are operating all job tasks, functions and equipment in a safe manner per company policy. Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any work place hazards or safety concerns.
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Senior leadership level experience.
- Proficiency in project and task management, and applications such as Word, Excel, AutoCAD/Vectorworks and inventory software systems.
- Working knowledge of all production equipment..
- Ability to be a self-starter, adapt to rising challenges and own all aspects of a project
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
- Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong ability to speak with poise.
- Must possess excellent training skills.
- Must have exceptional leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, mentor, and develop sales team members.
- Must be a strong motivator, with ability to execute strategic direction for the company and influence others in support of the strategy.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort. When the employee is on-site, the position will require to regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. On-site, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
