General Summary
The Class B CDL Driver ensures the safe, efficient, and timely transport of 4Wall equipment and provides high-quality customer service in alignment with established 4Wall standards and procedures.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and perform all work activities in accordance with 4Wall quality standards.
- Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
Personal Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles, up to 26,000 lbs., to transport 4Wall equipment (passenger vehicles, cargo vans and box trucks).
- Tow Trailers up to 10,000 lbs., to transport 4Wall equipment (5th wheel, goose neck).
- Arrive on time for all drop-off/pick-up arrangements.
- Ability to comply with DOT requirements for CMV Drivers, including driver qualification documents, medical card, safety, logging of hours, etc.
- Perform all safety and vehicle checks prior to vehicle operation.
- Abide by all local, state and federal traffic/safety laws.
- Represent 4Wall professionally while dealing with customers onsite, over the phone, etc.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Operations Manager and/or Logistics Manager in a timely manner.
- With the team, successfully load/unload trucks, check-in and inspect returned equipment.
- Assist with shop duties when not driving.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Learn and work in other departments within the Shop as requested by the Operations Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager.
Key Requirements
- A current Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
- A current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
- Must have a solid work background, including recent consistent work experience employed as a truck driver. Gaps must be explainable.
- Must have a positive attitude, be team-oriented and have great customer service skills.
- Experience in the entertainment lighting and video industry is highly preferred.
- Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.; duties include loading and unloading trucks.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.

- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
