PRODUCTION SERVICES RECRUITER

JOB DESCRIPTION

General Summary  

The Production Services Recruiter has the primary responsibility of leading recruitment initiatives .

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of brand standard procedures and policies.
  • Ensure company’s reputation and corporate values are upheld and enhanced.

Personal Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build effective recruiting strategies.
  • Conducting initial interviews and assessments and passing qualified candidates to the Labor Coordinators, VPs, Directors, etc.  
  • Identifying existing 4Wall employees who could advance into the show staff positions.  
  • Building strong relationships with indsutry resources, colleges and universities to attract top early-career talent.
  • Representing the company at job fairs, campus events, and networking functions.
  • Leveraging both traditional and creative sourcing methods to find top-tier candidates.
  • Collaborate on training programs to develop internal and external talent through training programs, apprenticeships, etc.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Team Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, coordination and support to all employees and contracted workers.
  • Ensure that employees and contracted workers are operating all job tasks, functions and equipment in a safe manner per company policy and that meets OSHA standards and other governmental or regulatory requirements. 
  • Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any workplace hazards or safety concerns.
  • Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all internal and external candidates. 

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of the respective local job and staffing markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of  touring and skills required for entertainment lighting, audio,  video, rigging and other special event equipment positions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized.
  • Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which drives revenue.
  • Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives. 

Physical Requirements

When in the office, the job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.  When on a show, the job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk for long period of times (regularly 10+ hours a day). Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Employees must be able to safely wear safety equipment (e.g. safety harness,) and be able to maneuver around small and tight spaces. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions. 

Availability

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
