Accounts Receivable Lead

General Summary
The Accounts Receivable Lead is responsible for projects within the AR Department and working closely with the Accounting Manager in leading the Accounts Receivable team.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Conforming to standard departmental procedures to help ensure the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
- Assist in leading the AR team by covering when the Accounting Manager is unavailable.
Personal Responsibilities
- Leading the Write-off W9 project
- Reconciling MAS to RW Balance sheet posting.
- Assisting team members with training and questions related to tasks
- Monitoring ConnectWise schedule and activity
- Assist the Accounting Manager on various assignments.
- First point of contact for PAC AR billing related issues
- Working on various projects as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Assisting Accounts Receivable Specialists with administrative tasks.
Key Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of accounting data entry experience.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, conventions and principles.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to remain friendly in stressful situations.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
