General Summary
The primary responsibility of the VP of Live Events will be to develop a strategy for expanding audio within the company. This will include creating SOPs, working with SVPs and GMs to assess audio needs and opportunities, interfacing with clients to understand needs, recruiting and selecting technicians to build out a team of highly skilled audio engineers, and reporting to management and other stakeholders frequently.

Organizational Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to existing clients to maintain and improve their relationship with the company.
- Maintain a high level of live event logistics coordination knowledge, and awareness of production needs in regards to building shows, executing preps, and ensuring on-site success for the production staff.
- Operate within 4Wall quality standard in all work activities and ensure that our high standards are maintained.
Personal Responsibilities
- In coordination with the Senior VP of Global Live Events, proactively build strategic business relationships to obtain new and repeat customers. Plan and organize a sales strategy for development of revenue streams with new business contacts and customers.
- Evaluate solution ideas by considering data, precedents, and input from others, as well as your own personal experience and knowledge.
- Provide input and guidance for the production staff in regards to builds on show sites.
- Assist clients in all aspects of creating a quality show, as needed, including equipment choices, review of show files, executing prep and trucking, ensuring quality control of equipment and labor offerings on-site.
- Supervise, lead, and direct Live Events Show Staff on the team.
- Actively participate in the interviewing, selection and hiring, training and cross-training, performance management, resolving problems, and recommending discipline and/or termination when appropriate, in coordination with HR, of all team members when necessary.
- Motivate and develop team members in order to further drive business and excellence within each given market.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any work place hazards or safety concerns.
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employe.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in current audio technology and other entertainment equipment
- Ability to create audio equipment lists based on client specifications.
- Working knowledge of entertainment lighting, video, and how it intergrates with audio equipment.
- Proficiency in project and task management, and applications such as Word, Excel, AutoCAD/Vectorworks and inventory software systems.
- Must be extremely organized and have excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to be a self-starter, adapt to rising challenges and own all aspects of a project
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
- The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort. When the employee is on-site, the position will require to regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. On-site, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
