General Summary
The Show Staff has primary responsibility for supporting all 4Wall Live Event productions, which requires excellent organizational and technical skills along with providing the very best customer service.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities
- Represent 4Wall in a professional manner while at events
- Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
Personal Responsibilities
- Productively contribute to 4Wall Live Event productions as directed by the Production Management staff, the Show Lead and the VP/Director of Live Events.
- Act as gear technician as the show is built according to customer-approved designs; includes items like lighting, rigging, electrical, video, A/V, stage assembly, crowd control, etc.
- Working independently without supervision as a seamless part of the team.
- When not working on a show, will be responsible for supporting the team with show prep, show design, and potential shop duties as required.
- Effectively consult with Project Managers / Sales Agents to support execution of the client’s vision for the show
- Interface with the project management team to successfully coordinate all 4Wall provided aspects of shows and to ensure that all 4Wall departments have the information and resources required to execute
- Review all relevant gear lists and drawings; proactively communicate concerns and challenges; make revisions as needed to successfully execute the design. Communicate all changes effectively with the project management team.
- Collaborate with the Project Mangaement team to coordinate crew resources across all shows
- As needed, act as show lead to coordinate the crews to ensure timely installation
- As needed, act as standby technician for relevant show elements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Lead Technician, programmer, and/or crew chief.
- Understanding and knowledge of theatrical lighting, staging, rigging, and entertainment equipment is required.
- Experience in entertainment lighting industry is required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work without supervision
- Must have good computer skills and take a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.

- Must be available to work, as needed, as determined by 4Wall.
