4Wall Las Vegas Lights the 2010 NHL Awards

Las Vegas, NV- For the second year in a row The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas hosted the final event of the National Hockey League’s season, the 2010 NHL Awards. In addition to hockey’s brightest stars, the awards featured comedian Jay Mohr as host as well as musical performances by the Goo Goo Dolls.
This year lighting designer Tom Kenny chose 4Wall in Las Vegas to provide lighting for the show. Due to a short turn around on this year’s show, Kenny required an extremely well prepped lighting package that included a GrandMA Console, Vari*Lite VL500, VL2500, and VL3000 Moving Lights, as well as Color Kinetics Colorblast 12 LEDs.
Kenny spoke of the shows' success, saying, “With the help of 4Wall, my gaffer Ronnie Skopac and I were able to achieve everything we had hoped for, and we even shaved some time off of the load out. I always try to use local production houses for my shows, and 4Wall in Las Vegas proved to me that ‘What Happens in Vegas’ should be lit by 4Wall!”
