4Wall Systems Team in Control at CityCenter’s Aria Convention Facility

Las Vegas, NV- What does it take to bring 86 Dimmer Racks, 10 Relay cabinets, 59 Paradigm Architectural Processors, 176 DMX Nodes and 5264 Dimmer Circuits online for the opening of Aria’s 300,000 square foot convention facility? 

“Comfortable shoes,” stated John Fernandez, 4Wall Lead Project Manager for the new space at CityCenter Las Vegas.  With eight dimmer rooms and equipment spread across five levels, Fernandez traversed two to three miles per day during system programming, checkout, and commissioning.

The facility houses four ballrooms, 36 meeting rooms, and two executive boardrooms.  It is the 4Wall Systems team’s largest dimming installation to date, including 288 custom built 4Wall utility wall boxes. It is also the second largest single building install ever for ETC, the dimming and control manufacturer.

The lighting control consultant for the project was San Francisco based Auerbach-Pollock-Friedlander.  The General Contractor was Perini Building Company and the Electrical Contractor was Fisk Electric Company.
