4Wall Sets the Stage for Hip Hop and Aerobics Championships

Las Vegas, NV- Combining Hip Hop dancers with Aerobics athletes is not an easy task. Providing lighting for these two very different groups over two weeks of competition is even harder. Yet 4Wall Entertainment and Don Cohen of Spectrum lighting were able to do just that during the 2009 USA & World Hip Hop Dance Championships and 20th International Aerobic Championships.
The events were produced by Howard and Karen Schwartz, founders of the Aerobics Championship and creators of MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew.” Held at the Loews Lake Las Vegas resort over two consecutive weeks, the championships drew competitors from all over the world to compete in various disciplines.
Running from 9 AM to 9 PM, the lighting equipment was forced to perform all day long while maintaining a standardized look for each performer. The gear from the 4Wall rental department did not disappoint.
Cohen spoke of his experience with 4Wall:
“I’ve used 4Wall each time for these events because their equipment is very clean. The lifts, cabling, and dimmers have always worked properly, and their shop is very helpful when I need additional items for the events. We will be coming back to 4Wall for these events each year.”
