4Wall Entertainment Performs a Unique Brand of Technical Magic on the Lance Burton Theatre

LAS VEGAS, November 2004 - 4Wall Entertainment (4Wall) teamed up with lighting designer John Morgan and High End to provide a complete lighting changeover in the Lance Burton Theatre at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. 4Wall supplied and prepped all of the fixtures and delivered the equipment show-ready in addition to designing and installing the tri-rack control system.

4Wall supplied equipment from well-reputed manufacturers such as High End Systems, Color Kinetics, and ETC. The preparation of equipment included lamping all of the fixtures, installing connectors, addressing the moving lights, and burning in the fixtures. 4Wall also outfitted 44 automated lights with 398 glass gobo patterns, which were hand-picked by John Morgan from Apollo's vast catalog of gobos.

Three racks of data network gear, video servers, and lighting control components were installed and configured as part of a show relighting package. The tri-rack control system, designed by 4Wall Entertainment, was needed to not only distribute data for one control system, but also for a complete tracking backup system. This intricate and efficient system is completely user-configurable.

The Lance Burton Theatre was down for 13 days while this project was being completed. It re-opened on September 21st, 2004.
