4Wall Entertainment Provides Lighting Equipment for Oracle's North American Sales Kickoff

LAS VEGAS, July 2003 - 4Wall Entertainment (4Wall) was chosen to provide the lighting equipment for Oracle's North American Sales Kickoff. The project was produced by In-Vision Communications and took place at the MGM Grand Hotel in early June 2003.

Lighting designer Chris Legrand of Legrand Design, along with Mark Hannon of Pillar Point Productions, and In-Vision’s producers had just about one month to put the show together. Mr. Legrand has worked with In-Vision Communications to design shows for Oracle since 1999. Legrand and Mark Hannon first worked together in 2000.

Hannon and Legrand chose 4Wall Entertainment because of their degree of professionalism and the quality of the equipment. "I was impressed by the state of the equipment and the attitude of the personnel. 4Wall came to the table with the ability to do the show and meet the budget requirements while maintaining a level of excellence," noted Legrand.

The client wanted a more theatrical opening sequence than is normally seen in a corporate event. The producers and designers were challenged with a tight cue structure based on audio, graphics, a 90’W x 20’H collapsible wall set, and live musicians. Integrating those elements took rehearsal time that of course only ate away at programming time. In the end, overcoming these challenges proved to be very rewarding for everyone involved.

Legrand added, "Ultimately, as with any event, the only reaction that matters belongs to the end-client. Are they happy? The answer was a resounding YES! In-Vision was extremely pleased with the realization of their creative vision and I felt I achieved what I set out to do while adding the extra touch that completes the experience."
