Lightswitch Chooses 4Wall to Help Light the Mitsubishi Dealers Meeting 2002

LAS VEGAS, July 2002 - Lightswitch chose 4Wall Entertainment to provide the lighting equipment for the 2002 Mitsubishi Dealers Meeting. The project was produced by Martin Brinkerhoff and Associates and took place at the Bellagio Hotel, Grand Ballroom on July 16th and 17th, 2002.

Lightswitch has worked with Martin Brinkerhoff and Associates on projects for Mitsubishi since 1995, including the last Mitsubishi Dealers Meeting at the Bellagio in 2001. 4Wall was also the vendor for the last Mitsubishi Dealers Meeting.

"Lightswitch chose 4Wall again this year because they worked very hard to accommodate the price. There were over 500 practical light sources in the set, and 4Wall came up with a proposal that made it affordable and easy to install. They have incredible project management!" said Norm Schwab of Lightswitch. He continued, "They are no nonsense. They treat you like a human being and you feel like you have a partner who is going to help you have a successful project instead of just a vendor."

The project presented many challenges to the lighting designers, including an incredibly short turnaround time for a production of this size (six weeks), numerous changes on the part of the client, and a limited budget. However, the biggest challenge of the project was the fact that the dealer's meeting and the salon were in the same room. The multiple sets had to be lit in different styles - from a dingy city, to a disco, and then to a large dynamic Times Square area.

Lightswitch's Norm Schwab said, "Overall, we were very happy with the outcome of the project. It exceeded our expectations! We had no equipment problems - the gear was in great shape."
