4Wall Provides New Dimming System for Bally's
LAS VEGAS, February 2002 - 4Wall Entertainment provided system design, sales, and system integration between electrical contractor (Bombard Electric) and the owner (Bally's).
The project was a retrofit of an old dimming system for a new ETC dimming and control system. It involved the demolition and removal of over 60,000 pounds of old dimming and patch equipment and re-installation of 25 new ETC Sensor Racks, 2 GE Relay Cabinets, and an extensive DMX networking system as well as an ETC Net2 fiber optic backbone. The theater also purchased a new Obsession 3000.
All work had to be done during a three-week window to keep the theater dark for as little time as possible.
