4Wall Entertainment Re-Lights the Hard Rock with LED

 

LAS VEGAS, March 2004 - 4Wall Entertainment (4Wall) will be rolling out their latest creation during LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2004 held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 31-April 2, 2004.

A patent-pending LED fixture capable of lighting a 10-story building will debut at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. 4Wall has been working with the Hard Rock Hotel to completely re-light the exterior of the building. The 300 LED fixtures, all Color Kinetics brand ColorBlast® 12 units, were modified by 4Wall to meet the needs of the Hard Rock. Buddy Pope, lighting programmer for the project pointed out, "For the first time, we have the ability to do color changes on a horizontal plane as well as the usual vertical plane."
