Over 100 attendees packed the warehouse at 4Wall DC for the new building's first ever Vendor Showcase and Open House.

With over 30 vendors exhibiting, the showcase was a mix of light, food, and entertainment all rolled in to one.  Numerous new products were shown to the public for the first time in the mid-atlantic, including Martin's new MAC Viper QuadRay.

Those in attendance spoke highly of the event, including Towson University Department Chair Jay Herzog, who thanked Scott Church and the DC crew for their efforts, saying:

"Thanks for hosting and being so kind to my students.  They could not stop talking about what a great event you had."

Sabine McMillen of Modern Lights said of the showcase, "I was very interested to meet with vendors to see the latest products on the market, and the entertainment was pleasant.

A big thanks to all of those who attended as well as those who exhibited!

4Wall Granted Writ of Possession in Rental Equipment Dispute with Mark Triebwasser and Stage 1, Inc.

Monday, April 29, 2013
Sacramento, CA – A federal judge in Sacramento has granted 4Wall’s motion for a writ of possession in an equipment rental dispute with Mark Triebwasser and Stage 1, Inc. of Folsom, CA.  4Wall sued Triebwasser and Stage 1 after they stopped paying for, and refused to return, equipment provided by 4Wall under a rent-to-own agreement.

4Wall rented the equipment to Triebwasser and Stage 1 in 2011.  4Wall filed its motion seeking a writ of possession in December of 2012, eight months after Triebwasser and Stage 1 stopped making payments as required by the parties’ agreement.  In ordering the writ of possession, the court concluded that Triebwasser and Stage 1 had “been in default [of the parties’ rent-to-own agreement] for a significant period of time.”  The Court noted that before filing its motion, 4Wall had attempted to compromise with Triebwasser and Stage 1 by twice agreeing to amend the payment schedule.

On April 23, 4Wall, accompanied by the U.S. Marshals Service, attempted to seize the equipment by levying on the writ of possession, although the equipment was not found at Triebwasser and Stage 1’s place of business.  To date, Triebwasser and Stage 1 have refused to reveal the location of the equipment, and 4Wall has yet to recover it.

The equipment rented to Triebwasser and Stage 1 remains subject to the writ of possession.

4Wall is offering a reward to be shared amongst the person or person who provides information actually resulting in recovery of the equipment.  If you have any information, you are encouraged to contact Kathy Torjman via email at
ktorjman@4wall.com, or via phone at 702-263-3858.

Autism Speaks: Light It Up Blue

Luke Lytle
Thursday, April 04, 2013

On April 2, 2013 Autism Speaks promoted Autism Awareness Month with its "Light It Up Blue" campaign.  To help bring attention to Autism, many buildings and structures lit up blue across the world.  Why the color blue?  Autism Disorders are almost 5 times more common in boys than in girls, so the color blue represents the boys diagnosed with autism.

After noticing that Autism Speaks was promoting Rosco gel as a solution for lighting up buildings, Rosco took the initiative to invite our industry to participate in this great cause.

There are 2 Rosco Gel Colors that you can use to light your building blue, Roscolux #68 and Roscolux #80.  Lux #80 is recommended for spaces with brighter lights or more reflective, light-colored buildings, while Lux #68 is for spaces with lower intensity light fixtures or less reflective, darker buildings.

Another way to participate is by projecting a custom "Autism Speaks" gobo on a building or structure.

As an official partner of the "Light It Up Blue" campaign, we have stocked up on Lux #80 and Lux #68 across our 5 locations.  You can stop by and pick it up or you can order the gel and gobo online here.

If you don't know where to start, or need help lighting up your structure, feel free to contact us at 877.789.8167.

4Wall New York Back at Full Strength

Wes Bailey
Monday, November 19, 2012
New Yorkers are known for resiliency in the face of disaster, and the team at 4Wall New York is no exception.

After dealing with a loss of power post Hurricane Sandy, 4Wall New York has bounced back quickly and is now running at full capacity.

While dealing with slight water damage and running on generator power in the aftermath of October 29th, 4Wall New York was one of the first businesses in the area to resume partial operations only two days after Sandy passed through the area.  Only a few weeks later 4Wall New York is fully staffed and fully operational, with both rentals and sales now proceeding as usual.

"It's a credit to the hard working staff of 4Wall New York that we have made it completely back up to speed this quickly.  Our team was able to quickly assess and deal with the issues caused by Sandy, and we were very lucky to be able to resume normal operations this soon," said 4Wall CEO Michael Cannon.

The thoughts of all of us at 4Wall go out to those in the area whose lives were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
